The Presence in the Forest

It was in the evening, the shadows of the trees being very long, and the smell of pine trees are lingering around. The Sentinel was walking through the forest, with her hand on her Katana. She walked at a slow pace, looking around once and a while to check if anyone is sneaking up on her. She looked at all the trees, heard the birds whistle, and looked at the rough textures of the pine tree bark. She stumbled upon an abandoned home deep in the woods, and checked to see if anyone was inside. Hopefully not. She wanted some rest even though she had a lot yesterday. She lightly pushed the door open and saw no one; All she really saw was old chairs, a fireplace which was not lit, and a rug. She entered the home and closed the door.

Leke was walking through the forest. He was wondering about something. Then he noticed an abandoned home. hmm...Interesting.. He took off his glasses for a while and looked around "Nah..Without my glasses I'm blind" The death scythe put on his glasses again and walked to the door. His mind told him that someone was inside. Finally Leke knocked the door.

She was almost asleep when she heard a knock on the door. She did not move, or do anything. She hoped that teh person would not try to kill her, much like the other people that saw her, Ever. She had her hand on her Katana, and was alert and looking at the door, she forgot to lock it!

Leke tried to open the door. The door opened and The death scythe walked in. Then he turned his left hand into an axe "Hello? Is anyone here?" He asked

She stayed silent, not moving an inch. Looking at the man, she saw he was a weapon. But what weapon? She was studying him.

Leke looked around "Okay! Enough! Shibusen here! Leave your hideout! I won't hurt you..I promise!" Leke yelled. Maybe he was the death scythe, but he had a good heart and if someone is a good person, then he can't attack. That was Leke's rule.

She was suprised the Death Scythe didn't know she was a Kishin Egg. She kept her hand on the handle of her blade and stared at him. Sooner or later he would notice the metal suit of armor in a chair, and then a Kishin Egg's soul. She kept quiet and looked at the floor.

Leke wondered "This is..What.." He looked at the armor "Interesting" He walked to the chair "Jeeeez..Cooool armor, My kishin friend." Then he sighed "Weell..I should call my friends from Shibusen but..I have a question. You aren't attacking me. Why?" He asked, looking at the armor

She stands up, looking down at him, Not replying. This man seemed different. She looked down on him, and her eyes glowed red through the armor. Her hand was still on the katana's handle, As she can't trust anyone from the DWMA, Especially a Death Scythe.

Leke looked at her eyes. He wasn't scared "Answer my question, please." He asked calmly. He was ready to attack the kishin egg..But something told him that this kishin egg isn't evil.

It was unknown what gender she was, as the armor covered her up. Luckily the armor changed her voice to make her sound gender-less. "No." She replied. She didn't feel like talking to him.

Leke tilted his head to his right side "No? Why? And could you take off your helmet?" He asked, calmly. But deep inside he was fighting with himself. Come on It's a kishin egg! You should kill it!. Yes..But this kishin egg is different Then he did something something crazy! He turned the axe back into hand "See? I won't hurt you"

She still didn't trust him. She pulled the Katana out of her sheath and jabbed it into the ground. She then started to remove her mask slowly. She was worried. He had the ability to turn into a weapon and kill her there without any thought.

Leke crossed his arms. Now he was sure that the kishin won't attack. Maybe the kishin egg as your friend isn't a bad idea.

The Kishin egg removed her mask revealling a womanly face, with brown hair and blue eyes. She looked at him and shrugged.

Leke smiled slightly "So. What's yor name, lady?" He aske. The death scythe was trying to make friends with the kishin egg.

"That's not your business." She replied to him. She wasn't planning to make friends. She thought that Death Scythes were supposed to kill Kishin Eggs, not socialize with them. She was guessing that Lord Death would punish him for doing so.

Leke looked around "So..You are a good kishin egg, huh? I mean..Uhm..You don't attack people.?" He was very curious about that. He knew a story about a kishin egg that was teaching in the DWMA

"Yeah." She said to him. "A lot of people from your school seem to want me dead." She started to think this Scythe was going to trick her.

Leke sighed "I'll tell you a story..few months ago a kishin egg was a TEACHER in the academy! And now they let the witches study in the academy..I also know a witch teacher and she is another death scythe's girlfriend."

"Well, I've killed a few of your academy's students. They weren't very nice." She said, slowly backing away.

Leke sighed loudly "What should i do now, huh? I don't wanna kill you, but you have killed someone from the academy.."

"It was a while ago." She said. "I was walking down a road, and a boy with nun-chucks tried to kill me.

She blushes. "Uh. What do you think?" she says while staring at him.
