Daisuke smiled warmly, "And I'm happy to finally have a meister, it's hard to try and do missions on your own as a weapon.. Haha.." he said, showing a bit of warmth in his voice for once.

Nic smiled, "Everytime I time an resonate it normally ends up in painful burns or something. I thought it was nearly impossible to find a partner..." She pulled down her hood, combing her short blond hair with her fingers.

Daisuke watched her still, "Same thing happened with me, and then I'd get dropped to the ground with little regard if I was okay or not, then they would always say it was my fault.. But oh well." he said, smiling slightly at her.

"I dont really see it as anyones fault. Just means that person wasnt meant to be your partner..." She stopped playing with her hair and moved her legs so she was sitting cross legged.

Daisuke looked over to his half finished sandwich, "Eh, who cares, were partners now at least!" he said, "You want something to eat?" he asked his meister, before standing up and grabbing what was left of his lunch.

She stood up fixing her shirt, "Sure I can eat." Nic put her hood back up while looking him.

Daisuke nodded and handed Nic the rest of his sandwich, the other half that he hadn't eaten, "Here, I'm not going to eat it." he said, waiting for her to take it.

Nic shrugs and grabs the sandwich takig a bite of it. "Thanks..." She says after swallowing the bite.

"You're welcome." Daisuke said, watching his Meister as he slowly sat back down. "So what do we do about classes and stuff..?" he asked, not really sure what to do now since he had a partner. He wondered if they would have to go to the same classes, and have to go on missions together from now on.

"Thats probably the best option," She finishes up the sandwich and looks at death city.

Daisuke took the knife and breathed out onto the blade's side. He took his finger and drew on the mist in the blade, 42-42-564. He removed his finger and waited for Death to appear in the steel.

Nic looked away slightly as they waited, She found Lord Death kind of annoying and normally avoided him.

A few seconds later, Lord Death appeared in the blade of the knife. "Hello! how you doin'?" He said.
